Market Day & Get To Know Your Surfers

Come and find the UQSurfers Stall at Market Day to get your membership for the next semester! For only 5 dollars you'll be able to join us on amazing surf trips and awesome parties. You also get a "handmade with love"- membership bracelet made by the exec ladies. 

After hanging out with us at our stall, we would all like to invite you for a drink in the Red Room (at the foodcourt on campus), so you can already get to know the executives and your fellow surfers.

UQ Surfers Launch Party

UQ Surfers is gonna start their semester with one hell of a party at The Stock Exchange. All the people you've met at our Market Day stall and the Get To Know Your Surfers Event will be there for drinks, talks and dances. And guess what!? The entrance is free if you wear your UQ Surfers membership bracelet!

Learn To Surf Lesson

This is an introductory surfing lesson for UQ Surfers members.

Price includes: Board Hire, Wetsuit, Professional Surf Instructor and Sausage Sizzle.

Gold Coast Surf & Party

On the third UQSurfers takes off to the Gold Coast for a weekend full of surfing and fun for beginners, schredders and everything in between! On Friday night we'll start the weekend with volleyball, burgers and drinks at the most famous beach of Australia: Surfers Paradise. On Saturday you can take a Learn To Surf Lesson with the other beginners, or paddle out with the executives for some green waves. Right before we take off to a VIP club crawl, we fill our bellies with an awesome BBQ. On Sunday you can choose to go for a surf, do another learn to surf lesson, hire a board or just chill, before we head back to Brissy.

Surf Outlet + Quiksilver Pro

UQ Surfers will look into chartering a bus down to the Gold Coast for a day filled with surf related activities. First we'll stop at the Ashmore Factory outlet, where you can buy wetsuits, boards or just regular clothes from brands such as: Billabong, Quicksilver and Roxy, all for real student friendly outlet prices! Then we head of to the beach for a surf and later on we will visit the Quicksilver Pro to see some real schredding! After that we will go to Burleigh Point for some take-away pizza and a beautiful sunset with all your surfer friends.
